Follow these steps to create your Binance.US API key and start live trading
Never share your API Secret Key with anyone, including ZimmBot support. We will never ask for it outside of the secure setup flow. Always disable Withdrawal permissions on your API key — ZimmBot only needs trading access, never withdrawal access.
Make sure you have a verified Binance.US account with funds deposited. You'll need USDT in the account to allocate to the bot. The minimum slice is $250. A slice under $500 runs fewer, larger rungs (about $50 each, so $250 runs 5), and $500 or more runs the full 10. A bot pauses if its cash per rung falls under our $10 minimum order at a weekly re-band (the exchange's own minimum is $1) — the dashboard tells you when and why. If you don't have an account yet, create one at binance.us first.
You'll see a list of permissions to enable or disable. Set them exactly like this:
Find the option to Restrict access to trusted IPs only. Enable it and add this IP address — this ensures your API key can only be used by ZimmBot's server and nobody else:
This is the single most important security measure. If your API key is ever leaked, it cannot be used from any other server.
Once you close this screen, Binance will never show you the Secret Key again. Copy it now and paste it directly into ZimmBot's Go Live setup. Do not save it in a text file or email.
The minimum is $250, and $500 or more is suggested (see Before You Start). Adding money to a running live bot isn't available yet, so choose the amount with care. Never allocate more than you can afford to lose. The grid buys as price falls and holds coin through drawdowns; the five AI models you see on your card are informational — they never place or block an order.
The engine runs every 30 minutes. Its buy orders rest below the current price and fill only when price trades down through them — so holding USDT while the price sits at or above the band is normal, not a fault. Your bot's card says exactly what it is waiting for.
Can ZimmBot withdraw my funds?
No. ZimmBot never needs withdrawal access and never calls a withdrawal endpoint. Binance.US doesn't expose whether a key has withdrawals enabled, so we can't verify that setting for you — it's yours to set (Step 4) and the exchange's to enforce: with withdrawals off, Binance.US itself blocks any withdrawal request made with the key. What Go Live does verify is that the key can read your account and place orders, using a test order Binance.US validates but never executes.
What if I forget to copy the Secret Key?
You'll need to delete the API key on Binance and create a new one. The Secret Key is only shown once — there's no way to recover it.
How do I stop the bot if I need to?
Click Stop on your dashboard: the bot stops placing new orders immediately and cancels the limit orders it has resting on Binance.US (only its own). If the exchange can't be reached, the bot still stops and your dashboard shows a red warning — cancel the remaining orders there yourself (Orders / Open Orders); until you do, a resting order can still fill. Revoking the API key on Binance.US also stops the bot from trading, but nothing can cancel resting orders without a working key — press Stop first, then revoke.
Is my API key stored securely?
Your API keys are encrypted in our database and never displayed again after setup. Our servers are IP-restricted to prevent unauthorized access.
What coins can I trade?
Starter covers BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP; Pro and Elite cover all eight: BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, LINK, AVAX, ADA and DOGE. Every coin in your plan is open for paper trading. Live trading opens one coin at a time, after each coin passes its own live test. Live today: BTC.
